My mother always had a flower garden. Roses in a small plot that ran alongside our house in the city. And three long strips of flower beds where we lived in the summer filled with baby's breath, scarlet sage, and roses. I have gardens as well. A shady one with moss and ferns and a sunny one with grasses, daisies, and zinnias. They provide an endless source of color, shape, and texture for photographs.
